Making More Comics!

I definitely have my tropes. I wrote and illustrated this new comic tale, and as I was thinking about how to summarize it here, it occurred to me just how many similar themes there are from my first story. Strong female lead in a space suit? Check. Exploring a mysteriously deserted location? Check. Unexplainable cosmic horror? Of course. Tentacles? 100%.

What can I say? Those are just good ingredients for fun sci-fi adventure! And I’m thrilled with how The Grave Robbers turned out - similar themes aside, it really has a voice all it’s own, with plenty of twist and turns that’ll surprise you.

So what is The Grave Robbers? The Grave Robbers is the story of four space-faring scavengers on what promises to be their most lucrative adventure yet. Will they become rich and have their lives changed forever? Well, at least one of those things is true. Which one and how so? That’s for you to find out!

On a Personal Note

It wasn’t so long ago that the idea of writing and drawing a whole comic story was incredibly daunting to me. But the strange thing is, once I did it, making comics suddenly became a thing I can do. The empowering nature of just doing something once, the way it breaks down walls in your mind, it’s an important lesson I’ll take with me for the rest of my life.

So yeah, I can make comics now, and so I have been. The Grave Robbers is my latest, and there are more in the works. Stay tuned!
